Cultivating Resilience for Mental Well-Being

We work together to shape our future while uplifting and centering the voices of our youth, people of color, and all of those who have experienced the trauma of broken systems.

"The world is in chaos not because of violence by bad people but because of the silence of good people." - Ritu Ghatourey

Founded in 2010 as a grassroots organization promoting campus safety, Community Now has evolved into a professional training organization for mental well-being. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Community Now is one of the few mental well-being programs in the Inland Empire that focuses specifically on Trauma-Informed Care training for organizations, schools, and businesses. Using evidence-based outcomes, Community Now equips participants with coping skills and mental-wellness supports.

Our Mission

The mission of Community Now is to use evidence-based theories to equip individuals with the coping skills needed to manage the stressors of life to become socially and emotionally resilient.

Our Vision

We are guided by a vision of a world that fosters kindness, promotes physical and mental well-being and encourages each person to be the best they can be.

"I truly appreciated your program. Diane Alford was amazing! Your group sessions were very eye-opening and insightful. This was a gift to be able to learn and continue to improve my understanding of cultural sensitivity and appreciation. I will certainly continue to learn and grow in this area."
